Bench Dedication

This bench, through the generosity of donors, some who are happy to be named, others who wish to remain anonymous, is dedicated to St. Peter Anglican Church in loving response to an acknowledged need for people to sit, rest and pray within this beautiful Memorial and Celebration Garden space.

Creating and loving God, you have placed the earth and its fruits in our care, so that by our labor, all might share in the benefits of your creation. You lighten the cares and burdens of our toil, by giving us rest and healthy recreation, and refreshing our weary bodies and minds. As we dedicate this bench, we ask that all who sit here be renewed in spirit and strengthened in mind and body. May its presence provide a place of respite and peace that cradles and inspires the imagination.   We ask all these things as we bless this bench, in the name our loving God, Creator, Word, and Living Spirit. Amen.
